Refund Policy
Last updated September 3, 2026 · Questions: [email protected]
We would rather you leave with your money than stay unhappy. This page says exactly when a refund is automatic, when it is at our discretion, and how to ask.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
Your first full payment (the first $49 Growth charge after the trial, or the first charge of any plan you buy directly) is refundable in full for 30 days from the date it was made. No form to fill in and no reason required: email us within the 30 days and we refund it.
The guarantee covers the payment, not the work already done: articles published to your site stay there and remain yours. Your subscription is cancelled when the refund is issued.
2. The $1 trial fee
The $1 trial fee is charged when you start the trial. If you cancel during the 10 days, nothing else is charged. If you want the $1 back as well, ask us within the trial and we refund it.
If you did not cancel and the first full charge went through, section 1 applies to that charge.
3. Renewals after the first payment
Monthly renewals after the guarantee period are not automatically refundable, because you receive a reminder before the first full charge and can cancel at any time in the app or in the billing portal. We still look at every request. We normally refund a renewal when:
- you cancelled before the renewal date and were charged anyway;
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- the service was unavailable for a significant part of the period, or an essential feature was removed from your plan;
- no credits were used in the renewed period and you ask within 14 days of the charge.
4. Credit packs
A credit pack is refundable within 14 days of purchase if none of its credits have been used. Partly used packs are not refundable, except in the situations listed in section 3.
5. Credits are not money
When a draft fails the quality gate, the credit is returned to your balance automatically. This is how the product works, not a refund: credits returned this way can be used again but are not converted to a payment back to your card.
6. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or reply to any invoice email. Include the site or the invoice number.
- We answer within 2 business days and confirm whether the refund is covered by this policy.
- The refund is issued by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to the original payment method. Banks usually show it within 5–10 business days; some card issuers take longer.
You can also contact Paddle directly through the link in your invoice or at paddle.net. Paddle applies this policy on our behalf.
7. Consumers in the EU and UK
You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. At checkout you consent to the service starting immediately and acknowledge that this ends the right of withdrawal for the trial fee. This does not reduce the 30-day guarantee above, which is longer than the statutory period and applies to your first full payment regardless.
8. Chargebacks
Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and costs everyone more, while an email usually gets a refund in days. If a dispute is opened for a charge that this policy already covers, we refund it and ask you to close the dispute.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force on the date of a charge applies to that charge. See the Terms of Service for how we notify you of changes.
